Sarah

THEATRE / dark comedy

★★★★★ ‘A highly original, endlessly entertaining piece of theatre’ – The Reviews Hub

★★★★ ‘Slinger is utterly terrific, a tour de force’ – LondonTheatre1

Berliner Ensemble Artistic Director Oliver Reese returns to the The Coronet Theatre following his sold-out production of The Tin Drum to adapt and direct cult icon Scott McClanahan‘s darkly comic novel,The Sarah Book.

Sarah is a savage and hilarious one-man show about love and loss in contemporary America. A quick-witted journey of a young couple as they fall in love, begin their life together and then fall apart as the marriage breaks down.

Acclaimed actor Jonathan Slinger (RSC’s The Histories, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) brings to life in this hilarious, unflinching and tragic portrait of a man trying to live the American dream as his world crumbles around him.
